Figline Valdarno is in the Province of Florence.
The municipality is situated on the left bank of the river Arno. The territory is located in the upper Valdarno, placed at the centre of Florence - Arezzo - Siena. For most of the land area is flat, while a small portion is in the hills of Chianti.
It is part of the Municipality Figline also Matassino, even if it is on the opposite shore.
